Many Tesla owners acquire these cars knowing this will be a car they keep for the long term, I mean who wouldn't! The goal for this client was Ultimate Protection for their new vehicle and that's exactly the package we designed, specifically tailored to their needs and planned use for the vehicle. Our client decided on our Full Body STEK DYNOshield Paint Protection Film Wrap, a package designed to perfectly preserve the factory paint finish on your vehicle. This package is for the automobile enthusiast that wants the ultimate worry-free ownership experience of their prized possession.

As every project here at Naples Auto Armour, it starts off with a thorough prep wash removing any contamination like iron fallout, tree sap, and rubber to ensure a clean slate for us to start our protection process.

Once the vehicle is in our shop and under the lights we do a thorough paint inspection to find any damage or paint imperfections that need to be addressed prior to installing our Protection options. In this case, we found a few factory sanding marks, a handful of dirt/dust nibs in the paintwork, a few random isolated deep scratches, and minor swirling. These are all addressed on a case by case basis using the least aggressive methods possible. All trim and delicate areas are masked off for safety.

Prior to application of our Paint Protection Film we start by removing some components such as Badges, Side Cameras, Window Molding Trims, etc that are easily removable to achieve a more invisible and seamless installation. As shown on this Tesla Model S, we removed the side cameras, this allowed us to clean in the recess ensuring no debris dropped into the film during installation as well as allowed us to trim the film right to the camera hole. Once the camera is reinstalled after Paint Protection Film installation you will never know the film is there, that's how we like it!

We use STEK DYNOshield Paint Protection Film (PPF), this is a 10 Year Warranty 8mils Thick TPU Protection Film with a ceramic coating infused into the self-healing top coat during manufacturing. STEK DynoShield utilize a unique self-healing top clear coat that has less orange peel than competitors, which helps achieve an undetectable difference between your vehicles factory paint and the film itself. The top coat also prevents discolouring due to contamination and exposure to ultraviolet radiation. The self-healing characteristics mean swirl marks and light scratches that occur on the film due to improper washing techniques or daily wear and tear will heal when exposed to heat leaving the film looking brand new. STEK HYDROphobe® nano-glass top coat is bonded to the film at a molecular level during manufacturing virtually eliminating the need for waxes or after-market top coatings, creating advanced water repelling properties.

With the Tesla sideview cameras removed the Fenders are Protected in a Bulk Sheet of DYNOshield for a true custom cut install that is wrapped over every edge so it is protected without seeing it!

Utilizing our custom installation on this 2020 Tesla Model S Trunk Hatch allowed us to achieve a seamless one piece installation. Most installation shops will use Pre-Cut Patterns which leave you with an unsightly seam along the sharp body line and we just couldn’t have that!

After our STEK Paint Protection Film installation is complete and has gone through many Quality Control procedures to ensure the quality meets our standards we then move on to the next stage of Paint Protection, wheels. We all know wheels can be the most labor/time intensive part of maintaining your vehicle, especially if you have a high performance car with big brakes! Our Wheels Ceramic Coating Service is designed specifically to make your maintenance and ownership more enjoyable. No more heavy wheel cleaners and arduous agitation needed to bring your wheels back to life, a simple high pressure rinse and light soap agitation and your wheels will stay looking new!

At Naples Auto Armour we pride ourselves on doing things the right way. The Satin Black Tesla Wheels were safely removed to allow us full access to decontaminate and apply our Ceramic Wheel Coating. Multiple Layers of FEYNLAB Ceramic Wheel & Caliper are sprayed on to the Wheels and Red Calipers via HVLP Sprayer. The Wheels are then baked under our Infrared Curing Lamps to allow the coating to achieve maximum hardness and durability. Our team then reinstalls the newly protected Satin Black Wheels and they are Re-Torqued to Factory Specifications.

Satin and Matte Wheel Finishes benefit greatly from our Wheels Off Ceramic Coating Service. Overtime Satin/Matte Finishes can dull, fade, and become brown due to brake dust etching the surface. Our Ceramic Coatings provide thick durable protection preventing brake dust from etching wheel finishes and creates an easy to clean surface rewarding wash after wash!

Infrared Curing not only speeds up the curing process of the Ceramic Coating, the Infrared Baking hardens the coating to its maximum potential which it would not reach with normal ambient curing. Many ceramic coatings can benefit from Infrared Curing, but most companies do not possess the tools/space required or simply do not seek to achieve maximum potential for their clients.
